CISearch.Net Product Page

Utilizing Microsoft's own built in Indexing Service, CISearch.Net lets you turn any computer running Microsoft Windows 2000 or later (2000 Professional and Server, XP, Vista or Windows 2003 Server) into your very own browser based file search solution.

CISearch.Net uses Microsoft's own Indexing Service to build catalogs of all the files on your network, which your users can then search through thier browser via easy to use search pages.

Full respect for NTFS file and folder permissions, advanced fuzzy searchs, unique Inteliquery(tm)  search optimisations, and a host of other features are all provided.

From around £1 per user, with no limit on the number of files that can be included in search's, other solutions like Google's own search appliance, and Microsofts Search Server add-on for Sharepoint just can't compete on price or features.

Features :-

- One centralised install, only one catalogue of your files has to be maintained, not one per workstation like most other network search solutions

- Absolutely not client software to deploy

- Works with any client with IE 5.5sp2 or higher.

- Incredibly fast searches.

- Unique Intelliquery(tm) search optimisation for accurate results every time

- Complete browser based administration functions

Totally respects NTFS and Exchange mailbox permissions

You can search by using any combination of  a) contents b) file name c) file type d) date last modified e) size f) location and g) author. Plus you can also sort your results by relevance or date modified.

Results are returned with summary information and an extract of the text of the item. You are also given a link that you can click on to open the document where ever it is.

You can even predefine search starts points for users and give them user friendly names. For example, '\\server1\data\sales' and '\\server1\data\support' could be presented to users as "Sales" and "Support". Users can then choose to search just one of these predefined locations by choosing the friendly name for that location.

Why not give CISearch.Net a try with the fully functional evaluation, we guarnte that you'll wonder how you ever lived without it.
