Versions
Archive Manager comes in 2 versions, 'Standard' and 'Datacenter'.
Once purchased for a one off cost there are no recuring 'support
charges', 'maintenance charges' or any other sort of anual fee. You are entitled
to free web/e-mail based assisted support for as long as you use the software, so long as it is running on a version of Windows that is actively supported by Microsoft (currently 2003 Server (all editions), Windows Vista (all editions) and 2008 Server (all editions)).

The standard version is just £149.99 per installed copy.
The datacenter version is only £279.99.99 per installed copy.
Each installed copy is capable of archiving the content on
multiple servers via UNC paths, no 'remote agents' or similar are needed. As you only need
a license for each installed copy, not each machine that will be accessed by Archive
Manager, and there are no recurring support or maintenance charges, Arhcive Manager is incredible value for money.

We can accept payments with a debit or credit card online via the
PayPal express service, a bank transfer, or a cheque through the post. Once payment has cleared
you will be sent the appropriate activation codes for the Computer ID codes you
specify below.
Please take the time to double check the ID codes you enter are
correct. Once done please choose the version you would like to licence each ID for
by choosing from the drop down menu to the right each ID.
Upgrades
When you purchase a copy of Archive Manager you can download and
install all of the subsequent versions up to the next major version. So if you purchase
a copy of version 2.x , then you can update for free as each new version comes out
up to but not including version 3.0.
As we do not charge support or maintenance for our products, and
a major version change will reflect a significant re-write with significant new
functionality, updates between major versions are chargeable. Regular development
updates are common and a version change really does mean a large re-write which
is quite rare.
Support
Each major version of Archive Manager comes with completely free
assisted web / E-mail
support. At the release of a new major version a final release of the previous version
will be provided. Support will still be provided for the previous version, but it
will be restricted to installation on the operating systems supported by the previous
version at the time the final release is provided.
Support will cease for previous versions of Archive Manager on
each operating system in line with Microsoft's
Windows Life-Cycle Policy. When an operating
system enters Microsoft's 'Extended Support' phase official support for that operating
system will cease.
That said we will always try to help customers resolve
any issues
that we can on expired support products on a best efforts basis.
So for example, Windows 2000 Advanced server went into the extended
support phase on the 30/06/2005, but as it still supports all of the required functionality
for Archive Manager we will endeavour to help resolve issues.
