There are no special seperate versions
of Archive Manager, just one downloadable install that you
can upgrade with a new licence code. The install package can be used to both install a new copy,
or upgrade
an existing one as per the instructions below.
If you are updating from a version
prior to 2.68 then we recommend that you uninstall any previous version of Archive
Manager ( saying 'Yes' to keeping the existing configuration database) before you
install a new version, then select 'Yes' when prompted to use the existing connection
when installing the new version. This will preserve all of your settings and jobs.

Archive Manager version 2.68 requires that
you have the .Net framework version 2.0 installed and an available SQL server to
install the configuration database too (or a locally installed copy
of SQL 2005 Express). Installation on SQL 2000 and SQL 2005 is
supported via a fully scripted and automatic database creation routine.
We recommend that you use SQL Express
2005 installed onto the machine Archive Manager is to be installed on.
SQL Express 2005 can be downloaded
for free from
Microsoft website -> SQL Express
2005 download page.
Please note that the installation
routine requires internet access to download additional components if required.
